WHY STAGE

gabriel is 2 years, 7 months, and 18 days. it is official. we have hit the why stage.
i've heard about how fun this is, now we are experiencing it first hand :-)

smarty pants

gideon. he is smart.
i was putting him to bed and he cried. i picked him up. instant silence. snuggled in to me. i held him and it was really cozy. i went to put him back in his pack and play. waaaaaaaaaa! i held him tight and 'shhshh'ed him... wa wa wa. i finally said 'gideon no! it is nigh night' he went 'waaaa, waaa, waa, wa,..........' silence.
stinker. but so stinkin' cute.

i ask gt if he wants to go to the pool. he remembers going with channing so he says yeah with channing?? i say no just with mommy tonight.. he says back umm yeah i think that would be possible mommy

JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR

we were very spoiled to be able to spend 15 hours at the jefferson county fair. the boys absolutely loved it we kept going back- 3 days in a row. the goats were the absolute favorite for the boys.

Ever since we went up north, everything is about Unco Mate's cow (or anything- saw, boot, whatever) and Unco ShaSha's tractors (doesn't matter who the tractor was actually from- it is from Unco ShaSha) (oh yes, and he doesn't have aunties- just unco's.)

Gideon gets a third (had 2 in our 2nd hospital stay) MRI on Tuesday because his head is so big. We're hoping it is nothing and he just has a lot of brains, but there could be something which would explain his lazy eye too.
