Gabriel loves feeding Gideon- a big helper

Grandma has Gabriel spoiled. I went up to the counter to get Gabriel his McDouble and he *insisted* on a cheeseburger kids meal with fries, juice box, and apple slices. He was so cute, polite, and persistent I just had to get it for him too.
Well, what are Grandma's for?

Mommy: 'Gabriel, would you like your tractor or your tow mater plate for supper tonight?'
Gabriel: '....tractor, tow mater...... tractor, tow mater...... tractor tow mater...... ?????? (long pause) I guess tow mater would be fine.'




Gabriel: 'Mommy, are these green beans from our garden?'
Mommy: 'No, those are from the store, but the squash and zucchini in there was from our garden.'
Gabriel: 'Yeah, and the kidney beans are from amazon..'




Daddy: 'Gabriel, would you like me to get you a towel?'
Gabriel: 'Yeah! I don't want to freeze my little butt off! I want to keep it safe!!'

WHY STAGE

gabriel is 2 years, 7 months, and 18 days. it is official. we have hit the why stage.
i've heard about how fun this is, now we are experiencing it first hand :-)

smarty pants

gideon. he is smart.
i was putting him to bed and he cried. i picked him up. instant silence. snuggled in to me. i held him and it was really cozy. i went to put him back in his pack and play. waaaaaaaaaa! i held him tight and 'shhshh'ed him... wa wa wa. i finally said 'gideon no! it is nigh night' he went 'waaaa, waaa, waa, wa,..........' silence.
stinker. but so stinkin' cute.

i ask gt if he wants to go to the pool. he remembers going with channing so he says yeah with channing?? i say no just with mommy tonight.. he says back umm yeah i think that would be possible mommy
